Installation & Mazes
Since 2006 I have been designing and building mazes and labyrinths for festivals, schools and community spaces to be enjoyed and played in by the public.
Each maze project aims to explore the physicality of the maze by responding to a different material, process and site. The research continues.
Mazes are a fantastic puzzle of patterns, paths and passages, dead ends and choices offering immersive experiences for anybody who comes into contact with one. Mazes have a long and complex history, but labyrinths are even older, often symbolising spiritual journeys in ancient stories.
